Primarily, we want to boldly proclaim a message of good news! God has come to earth in the person of Jesus Christ in order to rescue us from our sins and to give us the gift of eternal life. That eternal life doesn't start when our bodies die. Our abundant, eternal life in Christ begins the moment we realize we need His forgiveness, we turn our backs on our sins, and confess that He is our Lord who has risen from the dead! We also want to help followers of Jesus Christ to grow in their faith. That's why we're committed to providing solid, verse-by-verse Bible teaching from programs like, "Straight From The Heart", "The Word For Today", and "Precious Seed." If we're going to become mature in our faith it is essential that we spend time in God's Word daily. 50% of our daily programming is verse-by-verse Bible teaching. Check out our schedule page to see when the various teaching programs air. Most of our programs air more than once each day so you can fit them into your daily schedule.
Third, we want to encourage people with great Christian music from the "Jesus Music" era of the late 1960's through today's hits. You can also check out what's playing right now and see the daily playlist for today and each of the previous six days.
Finally, we want to be good members of our community. As our station grows, Dove-FM plans to provide local news covering community events, local high-school sports, local and regional Christian events, concerts, and speakers. We also will be providing local weather warnings and school closing information in the near future.
